If you never bought from the "popular dealer" (any chance Woodhouse?), better reconsider before switching. If you are #20, chances are that you could move up a lot dependent on color runs at the Viper plant and your color choice flexibility, some of the other depositees desire to drop out (because they just can't stand the "civilized" look of the 03), or just plain cold feet. I'm #18, and didn't like it, but was told that I could move up to #5 or so dependent on that movement above me. They deliver you know. Suggest your chances may be much better with them than most anybody, and it would be tough to beat their price.

Mako, Give Roanoke Dodge a try. They are located in Illinois, about an hour south of Chicago. John Gastman is the dealer and he will work with you. He is very competetive and also very aggresive when it comes down to selling a Viper. He also gets about 15 a month so the wait is not all that long. John can also drop ship the car to California so you don't have to leave home to get the car. Good luck and enjoy.

Mako, are you a current Viper Owner? That will greatly help your chances of getting a 2003. If not, be aware that your money may be idol for quite some time.

If all goes well, current VCA members and then all current Viper owners, will get first crack. Judging by the history of this crazed group, that could mean long waits for all others.
