If you fit the larger valves to the Gen 2 heads.

Do I need to have the valve seat inserts increased or can the larger valve be machined into the existing seat?

Any help please?

The factory installed intake seat is good for a 2" valve. You can still put a 2.02" valve in the head, but the seat can't be opened up to match it. Having the big valve doesn't help you, it's the big seat opening that improves flow.

To do it right you need to have oversize seats installed, then you can take advantage of the 2.02" to it fullest.
