After taking my 03 out a few times the last few days I have come to realize that I need new brake pads. The stock pads are pumping out so much dust that my wheels look nasty!!! What pads should I get to stop this!! It's driving me nuts!!!:omg:

Everyone recommends ebc red...However i've found hawk performance ceramic superior for street use...they do cost more tho...make sure u bed them in properly and there will be dust for the first 300 miles then the dust is much less than ebc red imho & no squeaking

I have used Hawk HPS pads on all my Vipers and other cars. Great pedal feel, superior braking, very low dust and less rotor wear than ceramic pads.

I wish Akebono would come out with pads for our Vipers.

My 04 SVT Cobra, 04 Volvo C70 and my wife's FX35 all have Akebono ceramic pads on them, and I NEVER have to wash the wheels.

Tim

P.S. Great street performance too with no noise.
