cam question

for the mods that I have (check sig) is it possible to do a cam/lifter without heads? keep in mind I plan doing heads, S/C and a stroker kit in the future.

I had poor results with Crowers street cam, mild head job,
bigger valves, pocket ported, port matched & t&d's, extrude honed intake. Only got 30 more rwhp with this setup. The real power gain is found in a stage 4 head job, go all the way on the heads or your wasting your time and money.

well im not going with crowers thanks for the heads up on that one.

If I went with just cam now and heads later on what gains do you think I would see?

Just an opinion - only change the cam if you are pulling the heads for another reason. The cam without other mods is going to give minimal gains
