Yes, fairly easy as the pipe positions under the sill are the same. You need to either get Gen I sills or modify the originals. I have seen it done both ways and both looked good.

I gotta say I have always been a sidepipe fan. From the classic mid 60's vette and Cobra to Gen I Viper the side exhaust just says POWER. Doesn't always add power as for production side exhaust must be quieter than rear exiting exhaust.

Hey Riverflyer -

You mean like this...

My cost 4 years ago was on the order of $2500 for stock (not aftermarket) Gen I side sills, paint to match, two 3" bullet mufflers.

Cut the outlet on your stock Cats to 3", bullet, 3" turn-outs, rear O2 simulators, stock rockers: Now you have a real Viper!
It sounds GOOD!

The only thing is: You can now almost double Joe's price!

I think Autoform has "smoothside" sidepipe sills (IMHO, look better that Gen1 on a Gen2 car).
Some folks have used the existing sills just cutting a hole for the outlet pipe.

Good luck, and keep us posted!
