I had my car checked by Keith Laxson yesterday and he found that the rear window is coming apart at the hinge. He says that he has seen this before but that repairing it would cost approx. $800.00. He also stated that some guys have repaired them and this would cost much less. Was wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem and have repaired them. By the way Keith was a really nice guy and he really took his time looking through the entire car. I am still selling it and anyone that is interested would be able to get a full report from Keith.

I had the same issue. Went to an auto glass place and they put some glue on it for $5. But the guy told me that it might not stick. And sure enough it's flexing again.

Chrysler does not sell a replacement hinge. They sell the whole hatch for about $1000. Don't bend the metal hinge out to clean up. It will bend and worsen the situation. Try the temporary solution so that the it doesn't get worse and hurt the wallet.
