My spies say that they have started charging as of today to get into Captree, and there is construction going on at OBI. So this will be interesting where the new hang out is. Ah well, we'll find out when we get there...

Not for nothing, but could someone tell me why with the hundreds of strip malls, parking lots and large areas to choose from around this area, this stupid carvel is the chosen spot? It's on a very busy road, with a crappy strip store parking lot and very limited parking. You got old ladies pulling in and out and parking on the street you take your life in your hands. Last week alone there were two close calls with guys trying to parallel park on 231. There has got to be a better spot than this. There must be a dozen better lots on Deer Park Ave alone, never mind the myriad of other roads. What about Route 110 somewhere?

I agree BUT Route 231 is the old drag hang-out. A lot of memories on the Avenue. One Sunday we should all meet at Maureens Kitchen on Terry Rd in Smithtown. Great Food and if we call early I know MO would set aside some booths for us. Nice lady.
