I ran a CARFAX report on an '01 GTS and it came back "clean" with the exception of being registered as a Fleet Vehicle. I take "Fleet" to mean "Rental Car Fleet" but there seems to be a separate identifier for Rentals. Can someone help me understand what a Fleet vehicle might be? Should I be concerned if I can't find who the Fleet owner was? Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks
Terry

Could have been titled as "one of the fleet" so to speak, as the owner of a business registered his "toy" with the rest of his trucks or "fleet".

Over here fleet vehicle means a large company owns it as part of its fleet, and gives it to an employee as a company car, for a part of his salary.

Corporate ownership. CEOs can also use it as a tax break or a business could have used it as a showcar (The outback where I live has an H1 they advertise on and the DE state police had a Z28 they used for PR.)

I wouldn't be too concerned with it as its unlikley the business treated it any differently than any private owner would have.
