CRASH: A 27-year old Chambersburg man was cited by Pennsylvania State Police, Chambersburg, after he crashed his Dodge Viper along the 800 block of Limestone Drive on May 28.
Justin A. Kling was going north on Limestone Drive. He had the car stopped, then accelerated to a high speed. He failed to maintain control of the car, police said, and it went off the east side of the road. The Viper struck two trees, went across the road, hit a mailbox and left the road.

Well, at least old/cold tires, deer, moose, democrats and defective control arms were used as excuses, yet.

How many times have we seen a professional Nascar driver lose it on the track and still save it?.....very rare. They're in a car built for racing, on full slicks, good surface and with tons of driver talent behind the wheel. Yet if they lose it very often it ends up in a wreck.

With the horsepower and acceleration potential of a Viper, an average "Joe" will rarely be able to gather it back up after losing control. Luckily no innocent people were hurt.

Well yeah, nobody loses control of the car while stopped at a light!

It was a Viper, but could have been a Mustang, Camaro, Vette, or any number of cars. Those kids in California killed this week when their car was split in half and burned after hitting a tree must have been hauling a$$ as well, not in a Viper.

I think what kills is poor judgement.
