:( :Been out and about today car was fine then started jumping about and holding back the the Check Engine light came on code 24 tps do i just replace this?...

I am not sure if it tells you what the service codes are in the Dodge service manual.

Just out of curiousity I will look.

The '94 service manual says Code 24 is the signal for TPS voltage too high or low. You can pierce the insulation and measure this directly with the key on, engine off. The feed is 5V, the variable resistor should go from 0.5 to 3.5V at WOT.

VT/WT* 5V
BK/LB* ground
OR/DB* signal

Just put new set of wires on as i new 2 were damaged :eek: ....
Reset PCM drove for about 10/20 mins all ok the started pulling back and what felt like missfiring going to order new tps as its come up with code 24 again :mad: .
when its cold all seems ok,could the TPS be braking down under heat???
REALY DOWN AT THE MO just spent £3k on it as well....
Could it be coil packs braking down under heat???
I just want it better been of the road since sept 03 :( :( ...

I hvae a genII and I've had my TPS sensor go out twice. Symptons are what you explained. Don't know about a GenI but a GenII takes about 2 minutes to change. It screws into your drivers side throttle body..

Good luck with that TPS sensor Barry, hope it sorts it; I'm looking forwards to a ride!! (I have a set of the special torex type bits you'll need to undo the 2 sensor screws if you want to borrow).
