saw someone selling these two items and thought i would get some info...

Any noticable differance at the drag strip or on the dyno with the dc performance pcm for a srt10 gen3?

I put an aem on my 99 rt10 and it only picked up 5 rwhp on the dyno but through the mid range was 20-30 rwhp higher...That car gained about 2 mph in the 1/4 mile....

Any similar experiances with the dc performance pcm?

Dont think it is possible since the computer must contain your vin number. I am sure someone else can confirm.

I picked up a DC PCM and it swapped right out with my stock PCM. I dynoed after the install and wasnt happy with the results, so sent it back to DC for a reprogram to match my exact modifications - but got lazy and never did another dyno to compare the results.

I would consider the SCT tuner as it will allow you to make changes as required without sending back the PCM. Havent heard of any negatives with the SCT - so maybe others will chime in.

DC tunes the PCM for your car, you must provide them with your VIN. The 170 and tune are often done for a supercharger application. PCMs do vary by year.

A mail in PCM reflash or tune is not the best way but, it's better than nothing. If you take your car to dan and have it done on his dyno the results will be better.

id think the tune is worth it, not so much for the thermostat.

seems most report good gains with the DC tune but more with the SCT.

DC and viper specialty are the guys id call for the SCT.
