Difference between older and newer style Borla catback.

A friend of mine wants to order a Borla catback. He heard one on Viper and really liked it. But the car had the old style Borla. Will the sound of the newer style with 4 mufflers be really different? I saw on another post that you can still get the older style for $800. So which one is better?

the older style has a 1 piece tip if you look into it. the newer one has the interior tip if you know what i mean. my car has the older style on it

I have the older style with only 2 mufflers and i LOVE the sound. Best sounding exhaust for the viper IMO.

I've had both. The older sounded much better to me. The new version has a rasp to it that I don't like.

Baz tried the x4 boxes, it was to quiet so he just removed the rear boxes and replaced with straight stainless pipes
