DOES ANYONE HAVE AN EXHAUST CUT OFF INSTALLED IN THEIR VIPER?

Does anyone have an exhaust cut off system installed in their Viper? I have seen them on trucks and as I was browsing through pictures here I saw a picture of one, but cant find any info on it. If you do do you have pics?

I would like one but too complicated on my car. You would almost need sides and rears. One with muffs and the other without.

I tried it along the way to something else on my '94 Viper w/ sidepipes and the ET didn't change at all

I wouldn't mind putting side pipes on my car, I already have a Mopar cat back exhaust, but I want her as loud as possible. I know its not legal to drive in CA like that, but at car shows, or just starting her up.

It sounded kind of crappy with the cutouts open actually. Only like a car with a defective exhaust system, rather than a high performance sound.


The cutouts were in the area of the flex screen. I was almost embarrassed to drive it to the starting line, it sounded so bad.

I don't think it'd do what you want. Vipers don't sound like V8s.
