Does Arrow rebuild come with new flywheel? Which aluminum replacement?

Just curious if anyone knew whether or not a new flywheel is supplied along with an Arrow rebuild?
Mine is out at Arrow, and in speaking with our super-tech, he suggested a number of things that might be a good idea to install when the motor goes back in. Among these is an aluminum flywheel. I did a search on the board, and the
opinions have been all over the place, so I'm somwhat ambivalent about it. However, my car does need a new flywheel, as the old one apparently can not be re-surfaced. If Arrow supplies a new flywheel, I don't think it'd be worth it to me to buy an aluminum one. If they don't, an aluminum doesn't appear to be much more than a steel one (which doesn't seem to last very long anyway? Mine only has 31k miles...), so why not, right?
About the aluminum flywheels, is Fidanza the only brand out there, that everyone resells, or are there others available. The Fidanza one is the only one I've seen that appears to be a distinct brand (not reseller relabelled).
Thanks!

obaa996,
The original owner of my 94 had the dealer put a Fidanza aluminum flywheel on after an Arrow rebuild, before the dealership reinstalled the engine in the car. It came back from Arrow with the original steel flywheel. What a difference - the engine revs up much faster. I like it.

Spec does flywheels, I am a Spec dealer....BUT....I think I am going to take mine back out. It has really hurt the drivability. When at nuetral throttle in first or second the cam lope is really bad....jerking me and the car. This is with a 1996 cam....may not be as bad on a cream puff.

Thanks Chris. If the original one comes back, then it looks like I need to get a new one... Tony, your comments worry me a bit though; is the 96 cam similar to the one on
the '94? Our tech is telling me that I'll end with a new cam, but I'm not sure if that means the cam is simply physically new, or if the profile will be different...

I don't know if 94 specs are the same as 96 specs. If you call Arrow, they could tell you. When do you expect your motor back ?? Maybe I will have the stock flywheel back in by then and I can let you know the difference. I changed to an aluminum flywheel, aggressive clutch (Spec stage 3) and roller rockers all at the same time. Since then, I have changed to a stage 2 clutch...less aggressive, and I still have the same problem. I would like to hear if anyone else has had this drivability change by just changing the flywheel ?????????????????

I did not change the clutch for this reason, the stage 3 had tons of chatter (very grabby)

I'll give them a call tomorrow; I'll do a search for their number. The motor was sent back last Wed (?); I was told it would take 4-6 weeks, but I'm expecting it'll probably be a bit longer than that. I'd appreciate if you could let me know how the flywheels compare. For the clutch, I'm going to stick with oem; I'm not planning on doing any serious racing. The LUK clutches on ebay are tempting; it sounds like several members have had good luck with them.

Thanks guys. Looks like I need to pick up a new flywheel
along with everything else. 1Tony1, I'd really like to hear about your a-b comparison before I go out and order one... BTW, what can you do on a gen1 Roe SC, black anodized and uninstalled?... I gotta order some things from Roe as it is.
