Drove down to Myrtle Beach, traded in our 2008 SRT8 Challenger on a 2005 Yellow (my favorite and fastest color) with 8400 miles.
Turned around and drove it straight back home to Delmont Pa. (near Pittsburgh)! 700 miles, good way to become familiar with a new car!
Car is so sweet!! To bad winter is coming!
Hope to meet some of you next summer! Thanks for this helpful site!
Hope I can attach a pic
Thanks,
Ed

Welcome to Viper ownership. Send a Private Message to one of the mods/admins to get your status upgraded from Enthusiast to Viper Owner. Better yet, join the VCA and get to know others in your area with the same passion that you have. The club is a great way to meet other Viper people and enjoy your snake with others of like mind.

Be sure to be careful when driving the car until you are thoroughly used to it. Cold tires, stabbing the throttle, and a lack of subtle inputs can catch you out. Warm the tires slowly and be gentle with the throttle. Good luck.

I think that's the first yellow with white stripes I have seen. I really like it. Beautiful car!

Thanks guys (and Girls) the car is fast.
I just sold my 550 hp Plymouth GTX, but this is twice the fun, I can turn now!!
Going thru a wide sweping turn on ramp, little on the throttle and the rear broke loose about mid second gear, what a blast.
The Challenger was fun but nothing like the Viper!
The place I bought it was at Competition Motors, 4806 Highway 17 bypass South, Myrtle Beach, down by the old Walk A Mall near 501 E.
Still has the original tires, I know I need to replace them
Thanks again,
Ed

Nice car. Love the white stripes.

little on the throttle and the rear broke loose about mid second gear,
imho shifting to 2nd gear seems to be the most dangerous time. Takes some time to get use to the power.

Congrats on getting a Viper. Remember what gbatejan has said and you'll enjoy one of the best driving experiences a car can deliver:2tu:
