Well, I read a thread on here about a month ago that someones driver-side door handle stopped working. I tried searching but couldn't find the thread. I remember it had some information on fixing it.

My dad is a mechanic, so I'm going to have him fix it. However, there was some information someone noted about how to fix this correctly.

Any help? I'm sick of using the emergency handle, after only three days =D

Yep, broken wires at door jamb.

However, going through this experience myself, i can tell you: fixing the one wire will NOT solve the problem for long. I had 3 separate breaks about 2 weeks apart, and then I finally gave in and replaced the harness.

However, when I bought my harness to replace it, I also bought a spare. It is still available if you need it, brand new, driver side. I found that wrapping the exposed wires at the jamb when new, will make them last MUCH longer.

I am selling the harness at my cost, 95.00 shipped.
