door window question

I noticed this before but never thought much of it, when I close my doors with the windows up, the glass doesnt sit in the weather strip it sits on top, i have to roll the window down and back up when i get in so they seal correctly, has anyone else had this proble? how did you fix it?

Yeah, my '01 does that as well. Didn't do it when I first got it. Started doing it about 2 or 3 years ago. Haven't done anything to fix it though.

If your door closes properly and doesn't need adjusting, then the only solution is to replace the seals.

The door glass can be adjusted [up/down & in/out]. Get yourself a shop manual, section 23 pg 39.

What I do to solve that problem on mine is when I close the door from the outside, I put 2 fingers on the top of the glass and push the door shut. It gets the glass up "under" the lip. Of course I can't do anything about it when I close my own door so I put the window down a bit then back up.
