I did a search on this and found 2 main threads from a few years back. 1 said double clutching on Vipers is good b/c it can extend the life of the synchros and then the other said because of modern day synchros, double clutching isnt needed for just normal street driving. Whats the consensus in 2006?

If you heel and toe when downshifting into a turn, you avoid breaking traction when you are at the limits.

I guess that's not really double clutching but you do want to match the engine speed with the gear you are going into.
