Stock are fine. The Mopar Performance Wires are also a good way to go MPP 8.5mm wires

Stock wires are/were used on the ORECA GTSR motors. They are the best for the Viper. MSD wires look nice but are not better than stock wires for performance.

I would call JonB at the Parts Rack..I'm sure he can get them for you at a discount. I got mine from him before and they work great! Plugs you can get just about anywhere.

I have the same problem on my 95RT with 20k miles. Dealer replaced battery but it still has the same problem. Let me know if the plug wires help.

Try replacing your fuel filter to eliminate that as a possible cause - should be cheaper than plug wires.

ONCE AGAIN, I wish we had a Symptom / Diagnosis archive. This EXACT problem has been asked and answered at least 10 times just this year. IF there were an archive, Greg could have found out immediately. Rarer problems may take owners (and Techs) DAYS to discover the answers......and the guy who had the answer may be on vacation! The SEARCH function here is mediocre at best...and useless when you don't KNOW what you are searching for.

Take any of the DEAD archives and revitalize it? IF I had the skills, I would offer to help.............

It may not be your Water Pump!
On the Gen1 motors I've had a lot of gasket problems![It may look like a W/P]

And YES Plastic Impellers on ALL Vipers/92 and up!

It would be nice to have a "Symptom/Diagnosis" Button like jonb said! It would speed up the process to a point! Not all symptoms lead to the same "CULPRIT"!
