Re: Finally, PICS of Bat\'s Gunmetal Stripes...

I have to tell you I love those gun metal gray strips even better than white ones. They are drop dead beautifull! As far as the tips sticking out to far and burning your legs we sell the same ones and they can be adjusted inward or outward so one can have as much of the tip showing as desired.

Robbie

Thats as far inward mine will go. Theres a stop on the inner part of the tip that keeps the tip from going in any further. I like them the way they are, I was just not used to them sticking out when getting out of my car ;) .

I just had my KW's installed the other day, and I must say they make a world of difference! Not only looks, but the car feels like a different car altogether! Pics up soon ;) .

Hey Bat,
Your car looks great! I also have the KW's installed and I must say, I am very impressed. The car handles sooo much better! When you start tweaking your suspension, you will be amazed what one click will do when it comes to handling. Good luck!

Re: Finally, PICS of Bat\'s Gunmetal Stripes...

Thanks! I've got suspension at about 1.5" about a 2 finger gap front and back, though the back did settle a bit on the way home from the shop, and I have some rubbing at times in the rear. I'm gonna wait about a week longer before I make adjustments. Did you have any issues with installing your KW's?

Are KWs easily adjustable for height?

I have mine set at 1-3/8" gap in front and 1-3/4" gap in rear. I did notice a slight settling in the rear and will make final adjustments in spring of 07.
I had no issues at all and would highly recommend KW's to all Viper owners.
Simply amazed at the difference in handling!!

Hey Blue Bat- I saw your car today over at the new Crystal Cove show. looks real nice in person.

That show is so unreal though- how many other places in the country can you go and find a Viper, Aston Martin and a fly yellow Lambo that are literally lost on the sidelines

I was parked right next to an original Jaguar D-type that I believe was an ex Lemans racecar

I also saw 2 close calls that will contribute to the eventual demise of the show if people aren't more careful. The lime green 67 Shelby was sideways waaay too much for the busy street, and a speeding Aston Martin almost t-boned a Miata that decided to do an illegal u-turn on the lead in road

Thanks. Were you the Copperhead parked near the front? I counted about 8 Vipers all together. I had a For Sale sign posted on the car with my contact info. Had 3 people interested in it. We'll see. My asking price is $74,900 is my asking price.

My sights are on an 08. Not sure where the value of the 06 coupe will be when the 08 is officially announced. Thus the reason I may be selling it now, but I'm enjoying it too much! especially since I had my KW's installed :) . We'll see...
