Hi Ben:
I am very interested in purchasing a Viper but just sat in 2 different Gen III 2004 and 2006. With my 6'3" height, I could not see out since I was looking at the windshield frame and visors. Based upon my research on older posts hear on the VCA forums it appears my best chance to fit is Gen II vipers?

Your car looks in awesome condition vs. the 2004 same color combination I checked out this past weekend locally that I did not fit into with having to duck to see out the window. I am torn and really love the Vipers look, sound and feel. Not sure what to do but maybe find a Gen II to test out the physical fit since I do want to be able to drive it safely.

Thanks for posting this beauty for sale!

I believe they make seat lowering kits for the gen 3/4 cars. I find my mom's gen 1 to sit higher than my gen 3, but some of that might just be down to how the seat is adjusted. Depends on where your length is in your height though. I actually move my seat forward a bit so I can recline it more to get my head down. It bends my knees a little more than I'd like, but it works okay. I'm right at 6 foot tall as well, though I could see bumping my head if I were much taller.

Correct - you can lower the seat by 2" albeit it will be fixed meaning no more fore and aft adjustments; however, you can still adjust the pedals and wheel so you would be ok.I had an '05 with it and loved it since I sat much lower (I am 6'2").

@MoparMap and @viperbob:
Thanks for the insight and unfortunately I have a lot of my height in the torso but the seat lowering mechanism might be an option to consider. If I lose the fore and aft adjustment just means I am the only one that can drive it not that the wife would anyway.
