You are kidding? I was under the impression that only the pistons were forged. So nothing on the 2000 and newer is forged. I will never let my 1999 ACR go now.

Only the pistons changed to Hypertectic, Rods and crank are the same in all the Gen 2's.

Also when they were working on the engine castings there was a problem with the blocks and all Gen 2s ended up with the comp coupe/ GT engine blocks.
