Yep, the one from partsrack is the only way to go. Just leave it in the trunk and if you get pulled over say you took it off the last time you washed the car and must have forgot to put it back on. Then you pop it on in 5 seconds.

It *****, but I would'nt put a plate on a viper.

Easy for you to say, you don't have to go through the Midtown Tunnel!

Six of my current vehicles have never had a front plate on them and I have never been stopped for it. Waiting for my luck to run out!

I also made a license plate holder but mine doesn't touch any painted surface. I got a ticket while driving my Viper home from where I purchased it. I have since had at least one policeman speed ahead to see if I had a fronty plate. Well worth the $6 I spent on the aluminum bar.

LOL ! Maybe you should add some plastic, stick on dead bugs, and some bug-splatter decals as an optional extra to the front plate holder for those that don't want to carry around desicated insect remains in their Viper.

Luckily, no front License Plate Law here in cactusland.
