The first meeting of 2007 is scheduled for Tuesday, January, 30. Meet and greet will be from 7-7:30pm and the meeting beginning around 7:30pm. It is being held at Alfredo’s Italian Restaurant. Their address and phone number are:

1989 Cheshire Bridge Road
Atlanta, GA 30096
404-876-1380
http://www.alfredositalianrestaurant.com/

VCA-GA will pay for member's food and non-alcoholic drinks. If you are a Viper owner and a perspective VCA-GA member, VCA will also pay for your food and non-alcoholic drinks for a total of one meeting.

We will have RESERVED Viper parking outside the restaurant. I strongly urge you all to attend! At this meeting we will be planning our 2007 VCA-GA calendar. The club has not been very active for the past year, but in 2007, we plan on having at least one event each month!

Please bring any ideas and information about events that you’d like the club to participate in 2007! This will be a "working calendar" for 2007 and can be modified due to new events being added, weather forecasts, etc.

Three GA members attended the President's Meeting in Detroit, MI this past week and were able to tour the Chrysler Tech center which included seeing several Viper engines on various dynos (max HP, longevity, etc). We will share information from this trip and let's just say, from what we saw calling the 08' Viper "600HP" is a little understated

We will also be taking a vote if you’d like to continue monthly meetings or switching to quarterly meetings and use the $$ saved from the smaller amount of meetings to help offset entry fees or other fees associated with the events we will have planned. Only those in attendance will have a vote, so this is YOUR time to vote how you want YOUR club run for 2007!

For those who have not rejoined VCA for 2007, membership applications will be at the meeting and can be filled out on the spot and paid for via credit card # or check. The fee for 2007 membership is $100.

Hope to see everyone there!

Hey man, hate to miss the first meeting of the year. Hopefully I'll be back in time, I'm deployed right now but may be back in time if things go well.

Any pics?

Not from me. I'm afraid I missed my first meeting as President  With a dad in the hospital with pneumonia, a mom with bronchitis, I picked up the flu or something in between. I stayed in the bed with a headache, fever, runny nose, cough, smelly feet, and bad breath :curse:

Sorry I couldn't make last night but THANKS for not having it "up hwy 400"

Thats exactly what I said when some wanted to do a meeting in Alpharetta!NFW we have had enough of 400 locations, & obviosly the huge turnout was indicative of the central atlanta location.

Chade & Dave, you need to keep this momentum up, I would highly suggest you do a follow up at the same location.
