My steering wheel on the viper is starting to flake and losing leather to grip so I decided to get an aftermarket steering wheel (MOMO) and a hub adapter. I searched on the forum and found a couple of references on swapping with a Momo but no real detail. Can the hub be taken off with a simple steering wheel puller or is there a special tool? One post for a 94 said it was a simple swap but when I took the steering wheel off, I do not see how to take off the hub and worry using a steering wheel puller would damage the steering post. The manual says to use a special tool but is it simply a steering wheel puller?
