That was a hell of a race! Tommy and his Viper had it start to finish. Looks like Tommy is going to be hard to beat this year!
It also looks like Bob Woodhouse had some bad luck avoiding a crash in the beginning but came back from almost last to 14th. Great job!

DANG! I had the race on TIVO. I was waiting until after the race to watch it, in order to skip commercials. Next time, title your thread "SPOILER: Viper Race", and don't put who win in the thread title

Let's see what kind of "reward" penalties the Viper gets now.

What a superb race -- Tommy kept things under control the whole way.
Hopefully it was close enough to keep the reward penalties to a minimum. They've already got Tommy driving with one arm tied behind his back and dragging three passengers' amount of extra weight around with him. They keep screwing around with these SCCA classes so much it's just too confusing to watch -- takes a lot of the fan enjoyment out of it. Why don't they just set the rules at the beginning of the season and let them run? This GT, GT1, GT2 stuff is all political -- I'd like to see the Viper Coupe run straight up against the Austin Martins, Vettes, Saleens, etc.
Anyway, kudos to Tommy, he fights through all of it. Now if we can get the other Viper drivers up there too . . .
