A V-12 does NOT belong in a Viper PERIOD. I couldn't give 2 $hits if the benz has more power, it ain't faster because the car is a FATAZZ and it's an AUTOMOATIC. One word you need to understand is DEMOGRAPHIC. Viper owners are generally affluent, however they do not want what the mercedes has. People like to mod their cars not leave it a factory stock timebomb pushing 21.8psi. How long do you think that thing is gonna last? The thing will be TOAST in 4 years. Paying for the out of warranty repairs on that thing is going to be astronomical.

I'd sat a cobra is quite fast even by todays standards. And getting spoiled by the way a modern car handles and the saftey engineered into new cars, it takes a brass set to put a cobra on the track and drive it to it's limits. Nothing like lots and lots of go with very little woah!
