Thanks for the link. It's a very good article, especially with the extensive list of manufacturers that it has in it.

I've been looking at two post and scissors lifts. I asked this in another thread, but I'll ask here too. Has anyone seen or used a Bend-Pak SP-7X scissors lift? It looks like a good unit but I'd love to hear from someone with experience with one.

I like two post lifts. The good thing about a scissors seems to be that what you give up in full access to the undercarriage, you gain in full walk around access at about half height (like for going around doing detail work on the lower body, rocker panels, etc. because you won't have the two post lift arms hanging out there blocking your walk around). And of course not having the two posts sitting there looking at you in your shop all the time is a plus on scissors. Obviously, I'm buying for personal use in my shop at home. Plus, I think I can fabricate/improvise a little and make a scissors double as a motorcycle lift.

Anybody seen or used that Bend-Pak SP-7X? Thanks! :2tu:
