GTR vs. GTS ....tranny diffrences?

Was having a conversation with a buddy who claims that there are some differences in the T56 transmissions between the GT/R and standard Viper tranny. Anyone know if this is true?

Production GTS and GT-2 (GTS/R replica) are the identical.

The $250,000++ TRUE RACING GTS-Rs had different Trans..
