Picked up the car today after waiting 2 weeks for the repair. The guy did almost a perfect job removing and putting back the dash. The car was basically exactly like i brought it in. It developed a terrible rattle about 1 hour ago, but tightened down the carbon fiber console did it. And sprayed some wd40 in every nook and cranny.
I never thought i would enjoy a vert, but i'm starting to change my mind. I have the ZO6 right next to it in the garage, but something tells me the snake is gonna get more miles this summer. Love them both:):) Now all i need is a job LOL. Maybe next month.

Ive been fortunate enough to of always had work, just your everyday electrician with a nasty car habit. Wife and son are gone, so this is my passion. Ive been sober 23 years, so if i add up the money i saved on dope and beer, im good to go. You only go around once, you mind as well enjoy it if you can, rather then leave it for someone else:)

"Nasty car habit". I love that quote, I'm the same way. Between my Ram 3500 dually daily driver, the SRT8, and the Viper, I'm going to have to work until I drop dead, but it's worth it!

Glad you got 'er back. Still getting to know my 2003 as well - 5 weeks now, and you can't wipe the grin off my face. Just waiting on a clockspring to come in, so we can get that repair done, and get the silly airbag light to go out!

Well on further inspection the windshield cowl is broken on the the ends that attach to the frame. There is a gap maybe 1/4" that runs about a foot. I can't imagine where the water would run to in a rainstorm. I wonder if there fix is going to try to glue it. I will be the first in line tomorrow. Especially after what they charged me for the repair. They have been great so far. I know the cowl was off the car because i checked the car when it was apart. Im going to make them order me a whole piece, i wonder what that would cost.
