Hello from another new SRT10 Owner

Hello Viper Nation. Just acquired a like new '04 SRT-10, Black on Black, with less than a thousand miles. New to the board and Vipers in general. Been playing with GTO's and Buick Grand Nationals over the years. Thought I'd try a modern muscle/sports car. Lovin' it so far. Any other Viper owners in the Central Upstate NY/Fingerlakes region (Syracuse-Rochester)?? Thanks.

Welcome aboard a new ship of sorts. I think you find the ride a lot more fun towards whatever destination we are all ultimately heading to. I was toying with a GN last week. He had that "wanting to run" attitude as we moved along with traffic from light to light, but I just stayed with my routine and left him guessing. Ultimately I respected his car's ability and he mine. I guess we'll never know.... Love GNs and worked with a guy in 1990 that had a new '87 GN. Remains on my wish list even today!!

Thanks guys. Polished stainless steel tips on stock exhaust. I like them - good looking and yet subtle enough not to disturb the monochromatic black theme, just enough sparkle showing for a visual tease without an in-your-face bling. How's that for exhaust pipe poetry?

Hi Chuck,

I spoke to you on the phone around 6/21/06 regarding the now ill fated or delayed "Tatortoga" happening. Sorry the weather done us in on that weekend. Looks like the next opportunity is the 8/12 "BO knows Guptil's Skate,.... etc." (Whatever that is!) Anxiously awaiting details on that happening. Maybe we'll see you then. Summer is slipping away. Welcome. Looks great. We the, MCVO club, had a get together at a local place on a lake last night. Our newest member brought his new black on black convert. and the car looked terrific. First one like that I have seen.
