Can't put a McLaren down, that is an extreme machine for sure. I had a friend with a dealership in Midland get the offer "Take it to 150 as fast as you can" (the same car that R&T had on it's cover, the one Mario drove with the fish on the rear). He pulled his foot out of it around 130 saying he'd never gone so fast so quickly, but then the fastest car he sells is a Corvette. Okay, but not all of my friends are wimps. Andretti gave the Hennessey Motorsports car higher marks for handling and stability above 200 mph but the McClaren had a higher top end. In a drag race the bad boys from Houston will kick it's butt but take it to a real racecourse where things like corners, balance, braking zones and driving skills come into play (just a friendly dig at my straight-line-slow-down-and-turn-around-as-soon-as-it starts-to-get-interesting buddies) and I imagine the difference between a million dollar made out of unobtainium race car and a affordable street slayer becomes apparent. Different tools for different markets. Either would make my day.
