Two Hemi Neon R/Ts made the final round today in Pro Stock at the NHRA meet in Seattle. Mark Odbourne beat Darrell Alderman by 4 feet. It's been a long time coming - just glad the Dodge Boys are back. This was the second outing for the new Neon body cars.

Just a little info...

YES, YES,
And in the process, both cars ran 201+ MPH, and Darrell Alderman set the National MPH Record at over 202 MPH (obviously the first over 202). Also, the GM and Ford folks are scratching their heads and will probabnly claim foul before long, or perhaps NHRA will outlaw the HEMI again, as it did long ago.

It is good to see a different car in the winner's circle...Alderman looked good at Bandimere last weekend as well. It would appear that perhaps the Nickens camp has figured out the program...and the new bodies seem to be doing wonders for their effort. Aero package is a lot better than the Avengers.

Lets see what happens at the next event...hard to keep the Coughlins and the Johnsons out of the finals.
