HID install troubles...

All,

Went to go install the HID lights this evening and all went well for the first set for my friend. We start to work on my car and follow the same instructions and I have one that hisses starting up then flickers and goes out. We swapped the ballasts to the other side with the exact same result on the other side now? Do I have a bad ballast?!?!?! Anyone have any troubleshooting techniques? Suggestions? I PM'd the person I bought them from as well.

Well, I would see if the other ballast turns on the light that was flickering first. If that works ok, then it points to the ballast being bad (the one that was hissing and flickering before the swap).
