After removing my fascia to get repainted, I noticed I have a hole in the coolant overflow bottle, caused by the fascia bolt. How are people fixing these holes?

i just posted this.. had the exact same problem.. there are a few posts on this.. get rid of bolt first and leave out or shorten.. i took out the round access cap reached down and found the hole on the bottom rt side.. i cleaned with mineal spirits and roughed up around the bottle with some sand paper.. then i found a screw just bigger than the hole itself.. i went to auto zone bough some seal all in orange tube. coated the screw threads with it and screwed it in.. let it sit then coat the outside with the sealant.. i did this at least three times... so far NO leaks..

As Vinnie said get rid of the bolt, I removed the bottle and used a heat gun to melt a couple of layers of plastic milk bottle patchs over the hole, it worked perfectly.
