How to quote and multi-quote

    I must be dense or old. I haven't figured out which tiny icon to click to multi-quote in this new format. It seemed obvious to me in the old software. Now, not so much. At least I didn't figure it out in my last two tries while trying to use combinations of what looked like the right icons. I realize that the trend is to cater to people who can't read English, or, possibly to reduce the info for displaying on iPhones; but, I haven't figured it out yet.

    Any inputs from an enlightened reader ?

    +1, Its been like this some time now and i assumed it would be fixed...
    i see THREE icons. With an icon i would atleast expect for the word to pop-up when your mouse hovers over em.

    Click on the first two once and they do nothing for me untill clicked on again. The last one does nothing.
    It would be nice to have the simple words: quote & multiquote down there. (and whatever the third option is)

    This is the same question I asked in another thread to no avail (Same forum - "Lower right icons") :dunno: It would be nice if a description could pop-up when hovering over each icon, to assist us technically challenged.

    My question was more meant to be, how do they work (if I knew what they were.) However, the lack of labels is surprising that that would be a stock thing.

    Anyway, I just experimented more, and all I can get to work is the left button as a normal quote. I don't get anything when I use the right one or when I use it on one post and then the left one on another post which is what one might guess is the way to do it.

    I'm guessing that this functionality is just not working, rather than me being dense. I'm going with that . :smirk:

    I just saw a member just copy and paste another post into his, so, I know we're not alone here.

    Ya, the most recent round of patching has screwed with some stuff. I'm still trying to hunt it all down.
