What tires are you running and what size?

What springs?

Do you have caps?

The HREs I'm picking up have PS2s on them and from what I hear that's a pretty tall wheel/tire combo. I'm afraid it's going to be too tall for my springs/caps. The Intrax springs were good for about 1" and the caps did another .25" - .5". I've heard of people having a 20" rear with PS2s (30 sidewall) and still rubbing on stock ride height. Am I gonna be pulling out the spring compressor again?

So even if I went completely back to stock in the rear I'll still rub...dammit. I know with a slightly less-tall tire and Eibachs/caps I'm okay (sirhc76 is rockin' that). I'm trying to find the middle ground.

Stock springs + 20" wheel + 30 sidewall = rubbing
Eibachs with caps + 20" wheel + 25 sidewall = fine

My Intrax are supposed to be just as stiff as the Eibachs, but I'm betting I have to at LEAST pull the spring caps, if not go to an Eibach for that extra .25" clearance. I'm hoping someone has lowered with a PS2 and can shed light on this, otherwise I'm gonna have a long, swearing-filled weekend ahead of me with entirely too much trial and error.

Something about 20"s just don't look right on a Viper too me. Everyone I've seen with them complains about the problems they cause.

It's just not going to work unless you pull the stock springs and put a set of stiff springs on (and give up ride quality). If people at stock height are rubbing you are going rub even more lowered. ;)

Invos or Pirellis are your only options. Believe me, I have already been over all of the options.:nono:

HRE 20" front and rear, and I have NO rubbing! :yay:

Guess thats because my ACR springs are firmer compared to non ACR. :dunno:

Try to avoid Pirellis if you can. I had them and I cannot tell you how much more I can do with this car now that I went PS2. Seriously. Day and night. Would go back to a smaller tire than go back to a Pirelli!
