I\'m sure this quest has been asked before..but it\'s about gen 1 egine to gen 2 engine

I was wondering if I could swap out my Gen I engine to a Gen II engine? What is involved? Is it expensive to do that? I'm starting to rack up some miles on my viper. I now have 37K on it and I'm sure it will last a long time, but I would like to replace the engine down the road. Has anyone done this with succes?

Gen I wiring harnesses and motor mounts do NOT match up. We know of no one who did this 'easily'

(PartsRack does have a Gen-1 motor, brand new)
