Needing help. I’m trying to buy and import a Canadian car. I need “letter of compliance “ but dodge won’t give me or the owner of the car the letter. Is there any work around on this? I’ve spoken to few brokers and they said another way is to let it sit at impound lot for 30 days for US DOT inspection. I rather not do that cause of the wait time. If you’ve had experience getting letter of compliance please message me. Thank you

Not sure if you've read the rules here.
P.S. Also, since Trump has negated a lot of the EPA rules, I'm not sure if a letter of compliance is even necessary. Call the EPA and navigate their bureaucracy.

Might consider a Montana LLC. They deal with this stuff all the time. I have several cars and motorcycles, many from other countries and was able to properly license them.
