I'm hearing a soft whirring (woo-woo-woo) when sitting at idle. I don't hear it when I give it a little gas while stopped, and I don't hear it while driving (could be due to road noise). It doesn't always happen. I'll stop at a light and hear the sound, then at the next light, I don't hear it. Thoughts?

I can still hear it when I turn the AC off. If it's a bearing on the serpentine drive, are they readily available? I'll have to drop the car off at a repair shop, so I sometimes purchase the item first if it's hard to get.

If it's the tensioner or idler pully, they are readily available and won't cost you an arm and a leg. Both are very doable in your home garage as well.

Might also be worth replacing with the IPSCO pulleys w/ replaceable bearings.

Somewhat unrelated, but I have been hearing intermittent groaning when I turn. It's not all the time, and it's not loud, but it is weird. Any thoughts?

Depending on what you think groaning sounds like, could be wheel bearings. Other groaning can be power steering pump.
