Is there a registry for wrecked vipers?

I noticed a wrecked '02 Red GTS on eBay (auction ends on 4/16). It looks like it's been hit pretty hard and has some frame damage. It still has a clean title. I wonder what Carfax will show. It just seems like some innocent buyer will be disappointed down the road when this car hits the market and the history is not disclosed. Does anyone know if the Viper community tracks such vehicles?

To my knowledge it is no different than any other car in terms of reporting such issues. If the accident was recorded by law enforcement it should show, and given the cost of our cars there should ALMOST always be a report to get the insurance money. Do some get through? Of course, most of them being a single car accident, Tree, guardrail, whatever jumps in front of you, you limp home, no cop involved, you fix it yourself or at a maw and paw shop and it will never get recorded. No matter what the procedures are, you will never eliminate such things.

Yeah, there is someone on this board that tracks all the wrecked Vipers by VIN number. I don't have his info but I'm sure someone soon will post it.

I'm the official tracker of wrecked vipers for the VCA. I have a growing list of wrecked cars (sorry, whole list not currently available to public) so if you're curious about a single vehicle I let you know what my records show. I've only been doing this a few years so I only have a couple of hundred leads.

PS Terry - I have the car you mentioned logged over a year ago in FL with 1910 miles on it. Apparently the new owner has done a lot of work to it already.

I also have the 1993 w/clean title logged as well.
