Ok, can we try to stay on topic this time. I did't want to add to the original diverging thread.
If one adds a larger crank pulley and get higher boost from the Roe how would that affect the other components that are being drivin? Would they spin faster and how would that affect performance and reliability? If an alternator spins faster you would generate more current and I would guess has little to no affect on durability. What about the power steering? Is you steering effort lower and is there greater chance of breaking the plastic pulley? AC compressor, does the AC blow colder and cool down faster? Is your AC system at a higher pressure now that the compresor is spinning faster?
It would be great to have higher boost but at what cost?
