I'm sure it's a golden "armPitt of GA" joke in there somewhere, but for once, I'll try not to offend entire towns at once :D I'll just take the week in Maui, Hawaii that I already decided you're giving away :nana:

    $2.

Lets just go 750 hp 785tq. I figure you were previously 20% low due to the starved condition.

Re: Let\'s have a little contest!

lots of guesses! keep them coming!

a little reminder from page (1):

"the last time we were on the dyno, WE WERE RUNNING OUT OF FUEL and started to run lean at 700hp / 700 ft/lb of torque, at 4000 rpm. it was at that point that we realized we had to upgrade the fuel pump in the tank to twin walboros, run a bigger feed line, and go to some kind of full-circulation fuel system."

all corrected guesses are accepted. :2tu:

BTW - i know there are "at the crank" figures and "at the rear wheel" figures. i have to admit that i do not know what numbers Joe produces on paper. but the figures that Joe gives me on paper will be the final figures. the dyno sheet will be posted as soon as i get it! I CANT WAIT! [IMG]

ps - get your guesses in now! as soon as i post the dyno sheet, the contest is over!

In my experience these centrifugal blowers tend to make more HP then Torque, even on a viper. My car with a similar set up made 841rwhp and 757rwtq. I have ported heads. Im guessind 750hp and around 700tq.

One hEll of a garage I'd say!!

And yes, I'll skip Maui, and take Vegas.

Re: Let\'s have a little contest!

LOL - you are funny beep! i have got a BAD case of HP!

two projects almost complete, so, i am already working on my next project! i have a 68 mustang conv. all the body work is going well and is almost complete. i have taken apart a wrecked 92 ford cobra. the motor, tranny, computer, etc is going in the 68. is that enough? OF COURSE NOT! the motor is now stroked, GT-40P ported and polished heads, bigger cam, mid 3:50 gears, etc. the mustang will be the "pooch" of the bunch.

add that to your total, and i am easily over 2000 Hp is my guess! WHEEEEE!!!

now that i think about it, THAT ONE should be done sometime next year. i am going to need another project soon. hmmm....

    Big,

    You need HELP!

I am only about three hours from NASA.

If you want I'll check if they have any SRB's leftover.

An actual true story, My friend actually owned and piloted the "first" solid rocket car. It was a bug with basically a missle through the middle. I used to watch him run it at private airports around here.

    My new guess.
    VIPER - CHARGER - MUSTANG - SRB
    2200 hp 2400 tq, 71000lbs thrust.

I am very happy to hear you found somebody to finish and tune your clean red GTS John. Can't wait to hear dyno numbers and that you are tearing up the streets around Bartonville.

My guess is 745hp and 750tq assuming a setup for the street. :headbang:

    thanks steve!

i am beginning to see a pattern here! lots of guesses in the mid 700's. i like those numbers. personally, i would like to see 750 - 800, but who knows. could be more, could be less. i really have no idea what to expect.

i feel like a kid waiting for xmas morning! [IMG] <--- that is Joe "santa clause" Donovan. LOL
