I installed a lightweight flywheel and it seems to have increased the interior drone at around 2000rpm. I have Balanger headers and pipes all the way back, with Random Tech Hi-Flow cats. Before this change, there was minimal drone.

Has anyone else had this happen, and is it possible?

By the way, this is a great mod!!!

I don't see how the flywheel could cause more drone.

Perhaps when the car was put back together, the exhaust was not put back in exactly the same place. I can see that causing a change.

I did not notice any change in sound/drone. I have noticed that the "cam lope" of my 96 GTS is a lot worse. So bad, that I may put the stock flywheel back in. Anybody else notice this ?

When I say cam lope I mean: In first or second gear, neutral throttle position the jerking of the car.....kinda like tapping the throttle.

I didn't notice any change in drone, probably because it was pretty bad/good already. I definitely noticed the cam lope....I end up doing alot of 1st/2nd shifting when at slow speeds in the neighborhood to keep it from bucking.
