Looking for a transmission shop near KY for 96 GTS...

I think my 3rd gear syncro is about shot. I was driving today, hit 3rd clean and know this. It is starting to grind or hard to get in. If you downshift to 2nd, but not put it in 2nd gear and go to 3rd, it will go in alot better. I know I will have to pull it and can do this myself. I would like to find somewhere close to KY that I can take it myself and possibly get it repaired in a timely manner. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks
