Looking for next generation technology name...

I read (here for the first time), something about the next OBD technology. Something that might include gps tracking on the car and all sort of stuff.

I have a paperwork to do in my master degree and I'd be interested to dig a bit further into what's in the work in that regard. The thing is, I don't remember the name that next generation technology goes by.

Anybody can help ?

Even maybe provide some good readings or information sources ?

based on what ya say with gps tracking and all...id say its called a lot of things..

Lol I see your point... but I'm sure, when I read about it here (can't remember if it was in the GTS/RT or SRT10 section), there was allready a name or codename for that new standard to come.....

Anybody ? :S
