Lotus makes the Viper frame?

i knew it was a company in Canada.....Fabco is the name i have heard mentioned

(though i had heard Mayflower but that must have been from some of my Ford GT friends and my tours of the F-GT plant)

You get BB's with the MIG welding process. Viper frames are welded with flux-core wire because of the anti-corrosion coating of the steel members. The welding flux floats these impurities out of the weld bead. I'd rather have strong booger welds than stress-prone beauties.

Why is it used with flux-core?! Not even that thick of a frame maybe 10ga tubing at the biggest :dunno: and you can still make the flux-core look good. I have done mostly MIG but very little flux-core. And if you can't even use a scraper, 6" air grinder would be used. And that anti-corrosoin didn't do so well on my car lol
