More dates added to SRT Track Experience

Received this email today. So the Viper track experience is alive and well. I'm going in November at the Vegas track.


Good News! Due to popular demand, we have added a few more dates to our 2009 SRT Track Experience schedule. These dates might not yet appear on the map/calendar/schedule but once you begin the registration process online, they will appear on the registration from and you may select one as your preferred date.

Recently added:

Lowe’s Motor Speedway - Thursday, July 9, Friday July 24 and Saturday July 25

Texas Motor Speedway - Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15

Autobahn Country Club - Monday, August 10

Michigan International Speedway - Friday, August 21, Saturday, August 22 and Sunday August 23

They cancelled the one at Homestead (out of Miami) in May and wished they had placed it on a re-schedule for this year.....I have three unused VINs to apply toward the program......

Yeah, that stinks, I was hoping to do it this year if it were a reasonable distance away.

I'm going on Friday (6/19)at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. Hope they have a Viper there but probably wishful thinking.

Was at the SRT experience yesterday at Raceway Park in NJ. I chose the right day because it looks like the only day of the 5 days scheduled there that it didn't or won't rain. I must say it was very well organized and alot of fun. There were 5 different events 1) autocross 2) Challenger Challenge 3) 1/8 mile drag racing on the E-town short strip with functioning tree and board 4) Track driving 5) Hot Laps with instructors driving. All were alot of fun.

We drove SRT Jeeps, Challengers, Chargers, and 300's. Surprisingly to me the Jeeps are the fastest of the four. Also, the 300 was a big surprise on how well it performed. It was great having alot of seat time in a Challenger because my wife wants to trade in her Acura for a Challenger or a Camaro. She was there with me and got to ride in all the events. Shes now leaning towards the Challenger (now if they only would start building them again).

Didn't get to drive a Viper but got to ride in a SSG coupe in the hot laps module with an instructor driving. All I can say is holy sh_t. I was holding on for dear life. I drove the Challenger on the track and rode in one in the hot laps with the instructor driving. Its was fun to say the least. This was before I went on the track in the Viper. The Viper ride was insane.

Big thumbs up to Chrysler for having these events.
