Motive Bleeder - Brake Fluid

Anyone own a Motive Bleeder? We offer a kit to convert the universal adapter to a quick connect. Allows you to switch to Miller Special Tool for Viper with a snap. Parts were hard for me to find so I bought a bunch and put a kit together with no Viper tax.

Excellent idea and product. I tried to use the Motive pressure bleeder on my Viper also and found the seal suspect. Ended up reverting to my Vacula vacuum bleeder.

Ron, You'll need to contact Miller Tools for their tool that service departments use and our website has the kit to take care of all the connections. Be cautious, their tool is expensive because it's a very nice machined piece of aluminum. I don't care though, I'm not having brake fluid squirt all over my engine bay and eating paint! 6643A is the part number for 1992 ~ 2000 Viper pressure bleeder cap from Miller. About $48.00! Ouch

I have the universal cap, and found it tough to use, too. My friend lost the chain, so I ended up using zip ties around the two "lips" that are directly across each other on the cap. It works great, and is MUCH tighter than the chain! Especially if you cross over with two zip ties...

Did they switch the brake reservoir and the matching Miller Tool for 2001?

Yes, when they went to ABS the part changed. Miller doesn't have a cap for 2001 ~ 2002.

Thanks Ron! Anyone have a 2001/2002 Dodge Service Manual? Do they talk about pressure bleeding brakes? Do they refer to a tool like the Miller tool for the previous years?

2001 & 2002 Reservoir cap adaptor for pressure bleeding is part number 6921

This is strange, no 2001/2 Vipers?

Ron, Is that a Miller Tool part number?

The 2002 service manual states the the "Special Tool Number" is 6921. Makes no mention if it's a Miller number but given the part number format, I would assume that it is.
