I am being told by a muffler shop that they will not install my Borla mufflers because they do not come with all the custom bolt on components. I was informed by the company I purchased them from that all that was needed was to open up the Cat's to 3" and weld a pipe between it and the Muffler, seemingly an easy job. I would appreciate any constructive comments please.

I'm with BigJim. Run, don't walk away from these people!! This should be no problem!! Ask other Viper owners in your area for references.

If anyone is interested in a set of Borla mufflers for your Viper, let me know. I removed the Borla mufflers that come with my Borla Viper system and I am willing to sell them. These are made to fit the Viper and really enhance the exhaust sound.
Let me know.
Thanks!

What year? The sideipe cars are more difficult due to the density of components in a shorter area and the need to exit exactly in the outlet. Some muffler shops are just that and do very little welding. In my opinion a mufler shop is the wrong venue - you have to make sure that they have the patience and and the experience with some form of arc welding.
